My skin is both combination and extremely sensitive. Reviews indicated that this Bioderma gel was the most delicate skin cleanser, thus it was purchased. The container is substantial, and I would even argue that the lid is really tight. I was pleased when I added it to another jar with a dispenser. It has an extremely solid, clear gel-like consistency and no odor. Without specific instruments, it does not foam well. It thoroughly cleanses and calms the skin, but it also tightens mine. My skin is extremely sensitive to temperature changes, wind, and dry air, and after using this gel regularly with Sensibio DS + cream for two months, the sensitivity has substantially diminished. For delicate and reactive skin, I advise using this gel.
