Review on LEGO DUPLO Cargo Train 10875 - Battery-Powered Building Blocks Set, Top Engineering and STEM Toy for Toddlers (105 Pieces) by Mark Morrow

Fun for the whole family

Really great toy. My 3 year old loves it and had no problem learning how to get the train moving forward. He's still learning how to loop paths, but he'll be fine. After that we bought 3 more kits to make the chains bigger and bigger. I also find it fun to play with while spending time with my son. We haven't used the app as we try to minimize screen time until our kids are older. The only complaint I have is that one of the battery contacts inside the train got pressed after changing the battery and the train didn't work. I was able to put it back in the right place to make it work again. However, I think I need to do this every time we change batteries. Not the end of the world but a bit disappointing as I expected very high quality from Lego. Pros - I can't think of a 3-6 year old who wouldn't love this toy. Adults also have fun with their children. You can buy more sets and build as many as you like. Safe for children under 1 year old as there aren't enough small parts to choke on (although they can disassemble your creation :)) - Overall very durable and should last a very long time, but a bit annoying) - The train is a bit noisy and I wish it had a more realistic sound than a humming electric motor. A bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the good quality of the Lego toys.

Pros
  • Get kids on the fast track to building the future with this electric train set for kids. The best and most popular toddler toys and building blocks for STEM learning through roleplay!
Cons
  • Some bugs
