I use it to take the dog out of the apartment which I've used it for 3 or 4 days and the grip loosened. I have a shih tzu/poodle mix so she's not too big for that, she's about 10-11 pounds. I hope it works until I move out of this apartment, but I need to "fix" various parts of it. I would not recommend this carrier. ***Update - After I left a review, someone from the company contacted me and offered to send me another carrier for free because they support their product. I didn't expect anything to come out of my review and really appreciated it. At least I thought it was a good company to deal with. I've been using the new carrier for a few days now and the handle or zipper on one side hasn't come loose like the first one. I am happy with the service I received with this product.
