Updated: The seller contacted me and sent me a new product. The new item works much better and corresponds to the description. Excellent customer service! The product works, it just takes forever to get a reading. I wouldn't call it an instant read or even a read with a 5-10 second wait. It takes a while to get an accurate reading, but the screen is large and easy to read. The backlit screen is also a nice touch. The magnet on the back makes it easy to hang on the fridge. But again, you should wait for it to reach the right temperature. You will be there for a while
