This is a high quality, very well made product. The edges are square and it's noticeable but not sharp. The joint in the middle is well made and flawless. The ruler won't bend because it's made of thick aluminum, and it won't hang loose or fold on its own unless you put a little pressure on it when using it. I have a strong grip, and if I don't want to move it on purpose, it won't wobble on the hinge. I really like that I can fold it in half to fit in a shipping box. I also like that it's a lot lighter than a steel ruler. I have a black one and it's also quite chic and attractive.
