Last year I adopted a cat, 8 years old, 18 pounds, BIG guy. The problem is that he ate kibble and vomited almost immediately 50% of the time. (I let my pets feed free of full meals all day. In 30 years of having cats and dogs, there has never been an overweight pet!) Times, 30% of the days still sigh. Switching to "more natural" foods. Purina Naturals has reduced the incidence to once a week. Then I bought a pouch of this Natural Balance, Ultra Premium. It's been four full weeks and he still hasn't eaten his lunch! The previous dishes were slightly larger and he seemed to swallow them whole from what came back. They are much smaller. Maybe that's the difference. (Yes, his teeth have been checked, they're fine, and he's given half a dozen veggies every morning, chew them up, no problem.) Not sure if it's due to the ingredients or the tiny pellet size, or both, but I am very, very satisfied!
