I'm so happy with this bag. Real leather is soft but very durable and the bag has a very nicely padded laptop compartment. The handles are very hard and feel like they are not leather. I love that I can adjust the length of the handle, but the handles ruin the richness and look of this beautiful bag. I recommend the manufacturer to improve the appearance of the handles. I didn't take it off because the overall bag is great and fits my 14" laptop perfectly. I think a 15" laptop would be cramped if put in a padded bag.
