Works great for a motorcycle.
It works great on my bike, I just had to cut a small piece of grippy cookware material I bought at the dollar store to hold it in place so it wouldn't slip off when I hit a bump. Put it on the crossbar, then put the bracket on it. Me and my 24 ounce Starbucks Iced Moka are very happy. Don't put whipped cream on top. I learned this the hard way at 45 mph.
