They are comfortable to play in the water or on land and are affordable. But my husband and I couldn't put them on our baby. She has a wide foot, but they also don't open easily. Many toddler shoes open well to let the little foot in. It's not like this. They hold the exact shape of the shoe and don't move. Add to that the grippy stuff, and there was no way we could get her foot in without a fight. Even in socks. We ended up spending more on Keens and glad we did. MUCH convenient for normal use.
