Review on Eyeglass Case Plaid Needlepoint Kit by Linda Diaz

I was very very disappointed with this set. The stitch and zipper function is good and the zipper works well but the pattern was unfollowable as not only is the pattern drawn completely wrong, but the count they give you for the pattern just doesn't work mathematically. I've spent way more time than a human should try to figure everything out, but I finally gave up. The kit comes with instructions telling you not to follow the pattern drawn but to follow the instructions instead - which was helpful until you actually try to follow the instructions. The color was so detached from the pattern that it was distracting and shimmered through the colors of the threads. Plus the thread that comes with the kit is the cheapest, poorest quality and easily tangles and doesn't fill in the pattern. I guess at some point those kits were good and then whoever was in charge of quality control stopped caring about them. This blanket set was terrible, but I also tried Hearts on Black (bought at the same time) and while it wasn't that terrible in design, it was still poor and the threads were the same lousy quality. who is in charge of quality control stopped looking after them.
