I fitted them to my 1995 Ford Escort LX (1.9L engine) with power steering and they fit perfectly. I know this machine isn't on the interchangeability list, but as is so often the case, interchangeability is wrong. Pretty much the other rack bushings say 1991-2003 and they looked the same as the others so I figure why not. That and the red version of this product, someone already said they were put on an older escort. I changed the steering gear bushings because the old ones were bad (the driver's side was so bad it was hard to see). I have something leaking from it and wanted to replace it that won't fall apart if it gets in car fluids. They weren't that difficult to install. The worst was rust on one of the bolts (lower bracket on the passenger side). It also helps if there is no heat shield on the part of the exhaust pipe near the steering rack (probably always the case on these machines of this age). The passenger side bushing isn't pre-split like many others I've seen for sale so I just cut it off so I can mount it onto the steering rack. My steering has improved a lot. These bushings are made in the USA.
