buy now Unbeatable sound in this price range. Compare with my Shure se215s. Foam ear tips are a must.

I can't say enough about these great headphones. I found out about it on music forums where a lot of people with headphones play live on stage. You didn't just use them by accident. Semi-professionals and professionals used them as reliable backups and volunteers as the most important. I must have had at least a dozen glowing comments about her. I bought the kit as well as the Mee M6 Pros (also a highly recommended IEM for $45) and compared them both to my Shure se215s (the entry-level industry standard - fantastic on the ears). I was disappointed the moment I put them in because they were thin and didn't have the bass everyone was admiring. I contacted several owners. They ALL said it was a gasket issue and I would have to buy foam inserts. The moment they entered my ears with foam tips, I was speechless. What a wonderful balance with a very real but controlled low end and perfect clarity without harshness. And it comes from a pure audiophile. I couldn't believe sound like this could come from $20 headphones. And two drivers?! I did a long comparison of the same music videos using this set and Shures and they are very similar in tone and soundstage. (recommended to purchase Comply or Rebound 5mm foam ear tips separately) and memory cable - no pouch, 1/4" adapter, foam ear tips, ear cleaners or secondary cables. The earbuds themselves are larger than the Shures and M6 and stick out a bit more out of my small ears, they were comfortable and I have a good fit with the memory wire over my ears. They felt surprisingly good in the hand and had a smoother fit and finish than my M6s in comparison. The M6s were much brighter and cleaner almost to the point where they oozed with very real mid-highs. For $50 they came with nicer accessories and a case and are well suited for those who want a machine with clarity, just a voice podcast or something to lie down or sleep on. (because the headphones are smaller). I recommend "burning through" both sets for 4-6 hours, playing music at a moderate volume throughout to take the edge off. I just can't think of any downsides other than big headphones, not having to buy accessories and separate foam tips. If you have $100 to spend and need professional grade IEMs I would primarily recommend the Shure se215 as the price has dropped to $89, they fit great, have great durability and come with lots of accessories. However, if you are looking for a great value pair on your minimal budget, a spare set or a leisure set I cannot recommend them enough.
