Love the color, matches his leash BUT not for burrowing dogs! I have a German Shepherd puppy, 4 months old, about 40 pounds. When I ordered this stake, it wasn't a digger. Then one day he decided to dig it in the garden and started digging up his stake! Within 15 seconds he made it and was hurtling to the races, hauling a rope and pole at about 100 mph and the kids and I were chasing him around (what a shame!) trying to catch him to get the back. to the house! I'm sure if the corkscrew was a larger diameter and a bit longer, he probably wouldn't have pulled on it before we realized it. The material it's made of is more than strong enough to support its current weight. I doubt it will support its adult weight of around 125 pounds, but I wasn't expecting that. I had realistic expectations for this stake and it worked until my pup dug it out of the ground. :-(
