I have both leather and velor furniture that I use for upholstery. This review is about a fabric (velor) chair that my cat liked and no longer scratches. I used to have plastic, but it wasn't convenient and it wasn't practical. I had to shift if I wanted to sit down and if I forgot to fix it my cat would scratch. Now I don't have to think about fixing anything again. It's also stretchable so it fits most chair shapes, it's machine washable and comes with parts to help keep the cover in place. I also like that when I sit down where I tucked the cover into the sofa, it stays in place. Doesn't stick to the skin either.
