This match safe is well made and the seal is very tight. In addition to the rubber gasket in place and the firing pin on the side, there is an additional black O-ring and two firing pins inside the case. I wanted to add gunmetal to my gear and it's very well done. It screws on a bit, but the threads are there for sealing. It's lightweight, easy to find in your gear bag, and hang from a carabiner in your pocket. The attachment point may be suitable for a carabiner, paracord or any other means you wish to use to attach an item. The base is knurled and the bottom has a rough texture, both of which can be used as firing pins. I put in a UCO 25 spoke windbreaker along with extra strikers, everything fits right in. The practice shot on the base was easy, so the others are more of a reserve? This is the best matchbox I've ever had and toss it in the sink and it will pop open when loaded. The USA made quality and internal match slot keep them secure but easily accessible so you're not trying to pull the match out of the tube like some others.
