I bought these 2 battery operated Christmas trees to use in pairs for the holidays. They look like in the photo. The light is bright, each tree requires 3 AA batteries. I like that the on/off button is on the side. I wish there was a purchase option that uses an outlet instead of batteries. Replacing the batteries located at the bottom of the tree under the battery cover when it is fully decorated is a hassle. When using rechargeable batteries from well-known manufacturers for an average of 8 hours per day, the battery life is approx. 2 weeks. I love decorating these lighted Christmas trees for the holidays. I've decorated these trees for Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and now Easter. I would probably buy this pair again. In my opinion an electric version would be much better.
