I bought this because the mechanic tore off the caliper bolt hole on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Then he told me that because of the whole stripped screw I needed a brand new spindle which would cost hundreds of dollars in parts and labor. I would like to say to anyone who needs to repair a cleaned bolt hole, this product works great. I got the job done in less than an hour, from start to finish. Just note that to use this product, I also had to purchase a 21/64 drill bit to drill a hole before repairing the screw threads. You can also purchase a T-handle that will keep the tap straight while you cut new thread. Again, this is a quick and easy way to fix a thread and will save you a small fortune instead of paying the mechanic big bucks for a 45 minute job.
