I compared this side by side to two other products and the Kedsum won! I like the large mirror size, the 5X magnification, and the product stayed in place when opened. The other product was a 10X magnification which required you to be so close to the mirror and even pulling back a fraction of the distance, distorted your face. The other product, quickly lost its ability to stay opened, requiring you to prop it. Its mirrors were smaller, which mattered when trying to see more of your face at once. It's light was dimmer also, although it had the ability to light one or both mirrors. I realized both mirrors being lighted isn't necessary. I'm taking this to Europe on a 5 week trip. We travel a lot! It's essential to have a mirror like this-so many hotels, even high end ones, don't have good lighting for applying make up and they may not have lighted magnified mirrors. We will see how it holds up!
