After years of trying to find a uniquely cool spice rack, I've just gotten practical. i love this one My carpenter husband put it together and said it was a bit tricky because the screws are so small. When assembled, the unit looks small, but comfortably accommodates seven spice bottles over three tiers. Don't try to cram into an eighth. The top flat tray is great. When you are together you can only lift it with both hands at the bottom as the tiers will fall apart. I ordered the recommended jars and lids. I suggest rinsing everything off and letting it drain overnight. Even then I took a hair dryer, put the small tops in a mesh bag and dried everything. Humidity in the spice container is not your friend. I'll order another one right away. i need another level Somehow I ended up with an extra set of labels.
