Does what the gasket kit is supposed to do
I installed this right on the vacuum pump while it was still in the car just because someone ripped the heck off the t30s. I only did the o-ring and gasket because that side was leaking anyway and burned fine. There is no more leak and I didn't give VW more than $400 to do it for me. The work took about 1.5 hours (maybe less, I didn't realize).
