The product contains plastic parts. But it works great and is easy to install! The shower head dock has a rib to prevent the shower head from falling or being hit easily, and the magnet is strong. For those of you who, like me, are looking for a detachable handheld shower head with multiple jet settings that doesn't stick out 10 inches in the air, this is a great solution. If you need unrestricted water flow, be sure to order the SRN model. When installing, it is extremely important to follow the instructions and hand tighten only. The washer/mesh is factory installed and can easily be deformed and destroyed if you try to use pliers. While this was a great solution for hard-to-find items, I gave it 4 stars because it's a lot more expensive at $87.95 and only comes with 5 hoses. You can buy a longer hose from Revain for as little as $8, but even with free shipping the cost usually tops out at $96.00.
