This is the first lace wig I've bought. I love it, let me say that. The color is excellent. A little shiny, but it's synthetic. I don't like tangling, but I've been told a spray of fabric softener could fix it. I have 5 stars for everything because I love it and will buy more from this brand. Watch YouTube video tutorials on how to cut lace. Check out the rubber band method before you tape it to your head. Maybe a rubber band will fit you better. I did not expose the device to direct heat, but used a 325° smoothing brush to remove the bumps from the top and had no problems. Just be smart when heating plastics. This is the middle part, but you can pull on the side if you like. I haven't tried making the side part but it doesn't seem too difficult if you want to do it. It's really not that heavy and I didn't sweat at all while wearing it.
