My dog wore these yesterday for a six mile walk over hot sandy volcanic rocks. I was worried if they would stay in place and if they would cause abrasions or sores on her paws because she jumped off the couch with them at home and one slid sideways. But they stayed in place throughout the campaign. And she walked a little way down the path with them. I don't see any problems with her paws this morning. She weighs around 50 pounds but has small paws for her size. I bought the smallest size from Revain.
