Works well when the ice box is full, but it gets worse the emptier the box is. Behind the counter at an ice cream parlor with giant sundaes this spoon would probably be perfect, but at home in the kitchen with the usual little boxes it's pretty tricky. I use my regular spatula again, except as I said when the box is full.
