Each pattern begins with a name, measurements, materials needed, and thickness. Special cuts and seams are explained in detail. Special patterns are also explained in simple spoken instructions. The finished product chart is shown along with the US/Metric size. The templates printed on the charts are presented in full color and are easy to follow with the wrench provided. Lots of variety - it's just shapes, something for everyone. One thing I didn't see was what level of knowledge is required as some of them will take some time. At the end you will find a list of abbreviations and how to create them. Needle tags are also included. the author section is highlighted at the end. The high quality photos of the designs and the contrast is good to see the patterns. I also didn't see the introduction or the list of places where you can get yarn. I received this review copy from Dover Publications through Netgalley. and that is my honest opinion.
