Slightly thicker than ideal and the rubber pads fell off after a month or two.

It's okay, but the design of the rubber pads on the bottom isn't great - they just stick and fall off in a month or two. And the overall thickness is probably twice what it needs to be, adding bulk to your laptop and making it a little more awkward to fit in a backpack, though not terrible.
