Review on 🪥 Othomechanic Chark: Activated Charcoal Infused Floss, Mint-Coated - Vegan, BPA-Free - 200 Yards (Pack of 4) by Joe Pettigrew

I am an avid flosser. I mourned the discontinuation of my favorite gum care floss, Listerine. This one would still tear at my closest contact (between a dental implant and a normal tooth) but other than that it was amazing. This one might actually be the second. DOES NOT vomit. Even at the trouble spot where dental floss breaks 99.9% of the time, this one does. no shred. Impressive. This thread has a really good texture that makes it VERY good at pulling and picking up dirt. Not like that sliding thread garbage that does next to nothing. And the fact that it's black actually helps a lot to see what's being pulled out of your teeth/under your gums really, really well. I actually double the amount of floss because I feel the need to try some areas a second time after seeing what's on the floss. And I think it's great. Well, why doesn't it take first place with my favorite thread even though it doesn't break like my favorite thread? This is because it is a very "hard" thread. It's hard to describe, but there isn't much 'thump' and I have to be extra careful when pulling it out of my teeth - if I pull it at too great an angle it can actually hurt and feel that it's trying to pull my teeth into a new position (I'm pretty sure that's actually not the case). Also, because it's a bit heavier, it can cut off the blood flow in my fingertip much faster and more intensely. In the end, I'm very happy that I have to use twice as much, so I can unwind it halfway and give my finger a second's rest before starting again with a new second thread. But this "hardness" also explains why it doesn't tear. And despite little effort, it fits surprisingly easily between my thickest contact lenses. Overall I'm very happy with this thread. Really is awesome at picking up and keeping what's left of a purge, and isn't that what a thread is supposed to do? I'm actually surprised how few thread types do this well. This is one of the few that I can really recommend.
