I'm going to hang this hanger on the wall above my dresser to store my necklaces. I found this trick in a magazine and this yarn stand was an example so I ordered it right away. I have many long necklaces that used to hang on the lamp and now there are too many, so it is not so easy to get hold of them. This clever solution is the perfect way to store long and short necklaces and the spools are long enough to store multiple necklaces on them. I finally see my entire collection and can easily pull one off the shelf without doing any serious damage. I will keep a few more necklaces on my lamp but I have so many necklaces that I can't see clearly or are on my back and almost inaccessible. Now I have enough space for everyone and a few more. It was a brilliant idea. Thanks to Real Simple Magazine for this tip. I was very frustrated with my chain situation for a long time. I can even get a second rack if needed. My husband built a small frame box as shown in the magazine. Great idea. I recommend using this necklace rack if your current storage method doesn't allow you to see your entire collection at once. That worked great for me. I can definitely recommend this yarn stand for this purpose.
