I bought this to expand the Audio-Technica PRO-501/G Frequency-Agile Diversity UHF Wireless Guitar system . It connects to a UniPak transmitter and allows our small band to use either the guitar jack or this. A lot of times we don't have a guitar, just me and keyboards with vocals that the keyboard player does. This headset expands the possibilities and value of a wireless system. Since the keyboardist is also a singer, her opinion on comfort matters. She likes it just as much as the Shure headset she usually wears. Sonically, it's almost identical to the Shure SM58, so I'm happy with that too. This mic has served well at several gigs and I will be purchasing a second one as a backup for safety. If you decide to purchase this headset, I recommend the Tetra-Teknica XFFZ5P-BLK Lavalier Microphone and Headset Windscreen, which not only fit this headset but also Shure models.
