Advantages: - very beautiful, comes in a beautiful box that makes a nice presentation as a gift. This is the best album I've ever used. - Photos are easy to insert. Cons: - Photos have to slide and then fall into a small notch and stay in place, held in place by the tension of the skin. However, some prints will not slide off simply by touching the album. Of the 30 prints in the album, 4 have this problem. It is solved by carefully inserting a small piece of double-sided tape. Note: - Circumcision warning! [This is not a problem with this album] Any album that has an insert with a frame holding it in place will mask some of the printing. The printable area of this album is 7-3/8" x 9- 3/8", not 8"x10". In hindsight this is obvious as the border is needed to hold the seal in place. Anyone familiar with print products and pattern themes will understand. However, I forgot and had to reprint some images where the cropping was too narrow and part of the subject was obscured. There is also a slight shift in print on the sleeve. I would crop the image so that the critical area is limited to the center of the 9" x 7" print of the 8" x 10" print.
