We have a ground floor master bedroom with windows directly facing the street. It can be pretty dark there when the blinds are constantly closed, but nobody wants passers-by to be able to look directly into their bedroom. We wanted to replace the use of blinds without sacrificing privacy. We chose this film because it allows some diffused natural light into the room while still providing complete privacy. At night, even with the interior light on, you can't see anything in the bedroom from the outside (except maybe a moving dark speck if someone walks right next to the windows themselves). I like the pattern, it's more elegant. on the glass personally that it appears in the picture. It's much nicer than just a privacy film. Installation was easy following the instructions and when we move out of this house we can just take it off without leaving a sticky residue. Seriously so happy with this product.
