I have ordered this item 3/6. It's May 13th. I do pyrography for my small business and bought this machine as an upgrade from my other burner. Pros: - Double Wand. I like that it's a double wand. It offers the flexibility of having 2 different nibs without having to constantly switch nibs between 2 as you work. You can just flip a switch and it's very easy to switch between them. Adjustable temperature. Firewood burns at different temperatures. Being able to easily adjust the temperature to obtain the desired combustion is therefore very useful. It also saves time so you don't have to repeat the same lines multiple times to get the burn you want. - Fast heating and cooling. It only takes a few seconds for the tips to heat up. This is a must have when working with multiple items or switching between wands. It also saves time. Cons: Chopstick holders are plastic. The first thing that struck me when I received the product was that the chopstick holders are plastic. I doubted this as it is a tool that heats up and usually melts the plastic. I've used it once or twice and quickly melted one of the holders. Needless to say I replaced them. The tool becomes HOT. The tip obviously heats up, but the wand itself heats up. I am using wood which needs to be fired at a higher temperature and the stick itself gets VERY hot. I got blisters. I've tried many things (as other pyrographers have suggested: heat-resistant fingertips, barber's gloves, leather wrapped around the wand with sports tape). It's still getting VERY hot. Which brings me to the attached image. It got so hot that the STICK MELted. It doesn't take long to explain how unsettling and unsafe this is. I will say that the machine works. He did the job I needed. Unfortunately, it is short-lived and not intended for long-term use. I use this machine for my business, but I don't use it every day.
