I got drunk shopping and bought it a year ago as a spontaneous addition. They're a lot lighter than the stainless steel shackles our local pokeys use but got the job done without breaking the 2 times I've used them in 12 months. They're clearly not S&W quality because the shackle doesn't swing freely and lock 100% of the time like you would expect a handcuff to, but I don't force the shackle on so I'm comfortable with them. My big complaint is that it is unfinished blued steel. I'm no metallurgist, but they will rust if not oiled. I degreased and keyhole painted mine a week after I got it and it still hasn't seen any real post-winter rust in the car door panel. Be sure.
