20 to 25 feet total carved with most of the back edge carved and 8 to 10 feet carved in the center. Both edge and center cuts were made in three steps until full depth was achieved with 3/4 inch wood thickness. Two pieces burned through completely and I was lucky enough to order a third "just in case" to finish. At first I thought the original was bad, but the second one didn't perform much better. There was no need to use 3 bits to complete the job.
