I hope it gets better. There are 25 colors (26 if you count the missing ones) that are in 2 bundles and cannot be distinguished from each other. I thought knowing how many strands of each color would help, but some had extra strands and one ended up short. I just spent an hour fixing them. They contain a card with holes for 14 colors plus two half holes. It's so disappointing! Hopefully I won't add an update with more problems. UPDATE: This is even worse than before. I miss more colors than I thought. If it wasn't so long ago I would have returned. It can be thrown away! 2. UPDATE: I just finished this pattern and it was the worst cross stitch experience I've had in over 30 years! More on the topic of dental floss: Some colors are gone, but the right ones were. Don't assume color numbers equal DMC. You are not. Realizing this in time, I ignored the paint that came with the kit and just used DMC. In some places it was easier to use a photo because the grid didn't show all the lines. The final disappointment was the personalization. First was the sampling date for January. I needed a September that didn't fit in the space allotted. I had to adapt. Then by name: The middle name in the photo was 4 letters; The name I had to enter was 8. It didn't match, so I spent days looking for other suitable alphabets. If this was my first cross stitch experience I would never knit again!
