They each smelled great for about a day. Then nothing. I am used to car type air fresheners which last much longer. I sometimes buy them as room air fresheners because I don't like air freshener sprays around pets; they breathe it in, and some animals are allergic or worse - a dog died in the 1990's from inhaling Scotchgard and/or air fresheners after developing asthma symptoms immediately after exposure. That and the gel air freshener is what I get. (I use incense sticks sometimes, but only in rooms where pets aren't allowed, windows open, etc.) Anyway, they didn't last more than a day each. I had these air fresheners in the 80's to help mask pet ferret smells and they lasted for several weeks and they worked well to mask ferrets' natural odor no matter how often you bathe them or how often you clean them. It couldn't keep the bathroom from smelling like my neighbor's garbage which for some reason has been standing on the other side of the bathroom wall for over a day. I feel like it was a waste of money and they definitely don't make them like they used to!
