I like that it offers some automation features so we do not have too many things running around our monitoring server constantly checking every single thing. It would help if there were more outbound ports available as well since most customers will also block those by default unless they want other devices from connecting with their network/server - but this just shows how much control people seem willing to give up when using IT services these days rather than having an administrator who knows what he / she does best! We use ESM primarily to check all servers (including DBs) health via SSH console access which makes sense because we only provide support remotely over email & phone calls etc while being physically remote ourselves anyway. I like how easy it was set up when we first started using this software! It has helped us keep track with our inventory as well which helps out greatly during audits by accounting departments at my work place (which also uses Sage 50). There isn't anything that i dislike about ESM so far but if there were any improvements please let me know!! We have been very happy since implementing ESM into production use here within Salesforce CRMs/Inventory Management Systems department.
