I have light skin, cold, with pink undertones. I usually go with the lightest shade I can find. I chose "fair" thinking it was the easiest deal, but now I see there is a china option. If I saw it, I would choose it. I can just go and buy it because I think it will be even better. Fair is just a warm touch on my face. Not totally dark as it is a pure product but it warms my face a bit. Works well over my whiter sunscreen. So I think "porcelain" will be a bit steeper than it looks in the picture. *will now be added to cart* - I will buy it and make it side by side for you as soon as possible. In terms of look, feel, performance. You gotta love Wet n' Wild. It's really a tinted skin veil. This is for those who want a makeup-free look, but maybe just to even out their skin tone a bit. THIS CAN be increased a little. I'm not interested in great coverage, but I tried this for verification. When applied in layers it clearly creates a coating. Not opaque - it will still be translucent but will help even out more stubborn areas of skin. I have rosacea without acne. Only redness and visible veins. The rest is clear and smooth. Even with just a light layer, my redness has decreased significantly. It works very well alone or over a skin tone glass correcting primer. gives that look. Otherwise, this one dries up rather semi-matte - so they say (again, I didn't look closely, I was just pleased about "moisturizing tint"). All of that can change depending on what you use underneath ie serums, moisturizers, sunscreen. It's worth a try. EDIT: Added photos of china and fair. They are very close and both work for me. I think porcelain is a little better because it only has a pink/cool hue. Slightly inclined from warm to neutral.
