Good basic WIRED headset. Sometimes "old school” = "new school”. In other words, it uses older technology, wired, but clarity is consistently good, as opposed to wireless where "your experience may be different". The real volume control is cool! Have you ever been forced to wait on hold while the volume increased to distorted music on hold or endlessly repeated announcements telling you "Your call is very important to us" or "We have a higher volume of calls than usual"? You'll really appreciate the call volume control when you can turn the volume down to the minimum until a real person comes to the call. I have 2 of these headphones by the way. In addition, they are easily adjustable.
