A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.
It fills the niche of mid-range zoom lenses, Sony has nothing like it in this respect up to 15tr. An order of magnitude better than similar lenses from sony and sigma, head and shoulders above tamron af 70-300 macro. I bought a singlecompy in dns-shop for 15500, I did not choose from similar ones, since nothing like this can be found for 15tr. This is the 2nd successful lens of this brand (the first 17-50 f2.8). The picture pleases, I want to try it on moving objects, as I test it, I will add a review. To whom aperture is critical, buy tamron af 70-200 f2.8 for 30tyrs. Sample photos willcome later. - + excellent expensive picture and color reproduction; + in normal lighting, fast focusing; + the presence of a hood in the kit; + soundly made; + lathers the background well; + comparable to more expensive models; + neither back nor front focus was noticed; + works great on cropped matrices of mirror and translucent sony a500 and a35.
- - not a smooth move of the zoom ring (you have to apply force to push it to the long end); - it is difficult to focus when shooting at night (justified by the aperture value both at the wide and long ends); -to use the zoom, you need to remove the hood or screw it into the working position; -weighty and large (depends on the quality of the lenses); - made in China (not critical in the modern world of technology).
