It's colorful and fun but not for a 3 year old. Tiny plastic beads are not easy to assemble, especially for small hands. I don't think my 3 year old grandson could. The concept is good. The set is tightly packed in a small bucket. There are molds for rings, bracelets, and bracelets for decoration, as well as enough beads to make free-form jewelry. There is a fold-out brochure with many examples of what can be done. I bought a small clear plastic box to put the beads in so you can dig around and see what you have. I'm putting it off until our Lily is five, maybe six. Then I think she will like it.
