Great for recovering from a broken kneecap, I can walk with a lot less difficulty. I have tried many other braces but none provided the proper support for a healing patella. It doesn't stretch as easily or as quickly as other braces, and if it does, the way the straps are adjusted, you can still tighten them as you like. I would give 5 stars but the sizing doesn't fit, at least for women, whether we like it or not, our hips are larger than men's. After looking at the size video and chart up to the T, they don't say anything about the width of the top, that's not cool. If I didn't need it so badly to walk around and couldn't wait for a full refund and ship a new one, I'd go back for more. It was painful to put on and take off for the first few days because it was sooo tight until I decided to stuff it with XL balls of yarn to stretch overnight for about two weeks as I said it wasn't easy stretch. After that it was better to dress and undress. Another disadvantage is that when you sweat it is almost impossible to take it off like it is the case with other sleeve bandages. Although if I was a bigger size maybe it wouldn't be that big of a problem either. Overall I would say this is a great brace giving me the stability and comfort I need for my healing knee. Women should only order one size larger. .
