I have NEVER been a fan of thick creams on my natural hair 4a because 1) they take too long to dry and 2) they leave white streaks on my hair for too long even after my hair has dried out . I decided to give it a try. And as is the case with most women with natural hair, we've tried a wide range of products and have bathroom shelves to prove it. I purchased Maui Moisture Curl Quench + Coconut Oil Curl Milk 8oz and Maui Moisture Quench + Coconut Oil Curl Smoothie 12oz. First I tried to find out if anyone had talked about this on the internet and found nothing that would really help me. But at the price I figured why not. I've spent more on products that are sitting somewhere deep in my closets and aren't being used. I'm so glad I took the risk! Firstly, it says this is a thick hair product and I believe that is true. I have very short hair (TWA – Tapered) and my style is usually wash and go. So I used this instead of the cantu cream I was using and wasn't happy with the residue it leaves. The last step in my routine is to apply the Eco Style Gel. Right after the shower, my hair wasn't as white as I expected! Not only that, my hair dried streak-free! No one! Seriously, I'm shocked! I've never had a hair care cream that didn't leave streaks in my hair. And you think it can't get any better, but it is. My hair tends to get dry and frizzy but I figured it had to do with using the gel. no Any. MORE! My hair is actually soft but still defined by the gel! Sometimes I skip the gel and just wash and use the leave in conditioner and the definition doesn't last as long as when I use the gel and I can hold and go 4 or 5 days after washing. So, to make my morning prep easier, I use a gel. But now when I touch my coils they get wet! And i love it. What more can I say!
