Installs under the sink with separate faucet for hot and cold drinking water. The filter fits perfectly under the sink and is also easy to install. I installed this myself which took some planning to properly connect to the faucet. In fact, a trip to the home warehouse was required to purchase this additional connection. However, the device comes with some of the most commonly required fittings. With this filter, the water tastes much better and the water in Seattle is already quite clean. However, this filter definitely cleans the water better and I can see the difference between before and after water with reduced levels of chlorine and other contaminants.
