Summary: Calling it a climbing rope is a misnomer; You could of course use it to climb, but that really depends on your definition. You can easily pay 3 to 7 times as much for a certified climbing rope. I will use this rope for non-life critical applications. Observations: This rope is much better than the polypropylene in the big stores. Recommendations: 1) Because the rope is stiff, you should stretch it. , and remove the kinks, then wind it up well, 2) keep it in the larger travel bag, not the bag that comes with it, 3) learn how to take care of the rope properly, whether you are handling or storing it . Pros: Decent fit and finish; sewn-on shrink eyelets and eyelets are well made. Disadvantages: lack of certification. Bottom line: $15 for 32ft, I'm rating this 4 stars (due to lack of certification of rope and carabiners). .
