AFTER FOUR DAYS THE SOLE ON THE BACK OF THE HEEL COMES OUT My husband LOVES these shoes for his sore knees - this would be his 3rd pair and he wears them every day even with a suit but the last one time something happened to the quality! I finally found it in stock (12D, a pretty common size) after they weren't even available on other sites. I suspect Spira had manufacturing issues as his favorite Spira sneakers are also sold out so BUY BEWARE even if you are a regular customer. We've returned a pair in the past when it "clicked" after just a month, but he's worn down the tread of the other two pairs he's had. By the way, I bought him an oxford style spira, but he didn't like their comfort compared to that style. So disappointed in a favorite product. Please note that the box this pair came in was heavily worn; I was wondering if I was being sold a second or used product. UPDATE: Bought another pair in February 2019 hoping the quality issues are resolved and because my husband loves and wears them all the time. This new pair now has the familiar click/creak that has been a problem with these shoes in the past.
