Follow the instructions and everything will be fine! At least 50% more light and visibility than the halogen I replaced. Highly recommended. Hopefully they last a long time and upgrade if not. After installation, pay attention to your light pattern. My pair had the cord down and the instructions don't show this very well. When I first drove I was afraid that people would complain that they were too bright and would blind me. It didn't happen once during the 10-mile drive through the two-lane wilderness. So there may be some truth to the claims about the pattern of light! Take some zip ties with you, cable management requires some thought. I didn't want to leave all the wires in front of the fan, and I didn't want them to sag/lay on the underside of the wheel well where the connectors would be exposed to excess water. Water and fan heat might not be good in the long run. On the driver's side, the connector is neatly hidden under the subframe. In fact, you can't even see it in the picture. It gets tight on the passenger side thanks to the battery and coolant reservoir return pipe. On this side I had to be content with the attachment to the pipe. On both sides, be sure to leave the wires a little slack to avoid kinking/twisting and breaking them over time. Much luck!
