Review on Prevue Products Wrought 3151GRN 18 Inch by Stacy Edwards

I bought one of these cages from a pet store. I am currently working on a desperate quick cage upgrade for one of my cockatiels. At first I didn't put much stock in it and just bought it at the exit of the store, thinking it was the nicest thing we had. I was absolutely right and now think this is the BEST bird cage and recently bought a second one from Amazon (the price is much better online). Other bird cages I have used are terrible to clean, you have to separate the bars from the bottom to really clean them, most of them are bulky and difficult to move, even other cages with metal bars like this one don't work. t like easy to clean. This Prevue cage has a grid that slides out like a drawer and a very deep bottom tray for dirty birds. Once both fail, it's a straight drop to the bottom, meaning nothing goes bad. The playroom cover doesn't need to be installed with the top shell, but my birds love it, I just have to open the door and they climb right up. The downsides of this cage aren't that great, the grates on the bottom (on the sides of the tray) need to be wiped down often, and the seed guard is useless for cockatiels. They crunch their food and shoot it vertically out of their cage at warp speed. Overall I like this cage. I plan to buy a larger size for my green cheek.
