. I started practicing with this and after several tries I was pulling these coils out of the tool like a pro. After working with it for a while I noticed my pinky and the next finger started to hurt a little. I decided that the 4" length of the tool was too short for my grip, so I took two popsicle sticks and glued them to either side of the tool to extend it 2" longer to fit all of my fingers. .Now I can use it without pain and tie any fishing knot I will ever need. I highly recommend this tool.
