I ordered this primarily for reading music as a pianist at my church. I wear strict prescriptions with progressive bifocals, but I find it difficult to see/work in bifocals, especially in relation to reading piano music. They arrived last week and this Sunday I was able to read sheet music comfortably and clearly. I ordered 3.00 diopters after having similar success with a pair of 2.50's for home reading. The previous ones were bigger than I liked so I ordered a size small and they fit my glasses perfectly. This also makes it less bulky/heavy. These fold-down magnifying glasses have been and will continue to be a great blessing! (Note: If you are unsure about the magnification, there are many different levels in commercial reading glasses in pharmacies and similar places that you can test in the store: e.g. overlay over glasses. Check different distances and types of pressure, etc. )
